In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday January 21, Humboldt County Democrats plan a food drive to support the Humboldt County Ministerial Association Food Pantry.
Food drive collection will be 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. at the Fareway Meat and Grocery Store, Highway 3 West, Humboldt.
Shoppers will be invited to donate non-perishable items for the local food pantry, operated by Upper Des Moines Opportunity, Inc. (UDMO). Cash donations will also be welcomed, with 100 percent of donations will go to the food pantry to feed the hungry in our community.
