Humboldt boys fall short at Iowa Falls, 62-45

The Humboldt varsity boys' basketball team traveled to Iowa Falls on Friday night (Feb. 8) and came up on the short end of a 62-45 contest with the Cadets.

The loss dropped Humboldt to 8-10 overall, 6-8 in the North Central Conference. IFA improved to 8-9 overall.

Humboldt will return to action at Algona on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in a varsity makeup game with the Bulldogs. The Wildcats also play at Carroll on Monday, Feb. 11.

Humboldt wraps up its regular season against Storm Lake on Feb. 14 at home.

Humboldt's first round Class 3A district tournament game will be played at Sergeant Blulff on Monday, Feb. 18, in a 6:30 p.m. tipoff with Sergeant Bluff-Luton.
