Humboldt’s Lange named 3rd team All-NCC

Humboldt High School junior basketball standout Mady Lange was recently selected third-team all-North Central Conference.

Lange led the Wildcats in scoring at 9.4 points per game. She was also second on the team in rebounding at 7.6 per game.

The NCC coaches’ post-season honors had five players listed as unanimous selections on the first-team unit. Unanimous picks include Iowa Falls-Alden senior Grace Renaud, Algona junior Aliyah Buscher, Clear Lake junior Sara Faber, Algona junior Abbey Holmes and Webster City junior Taylor McKinney. Iowa Falls-Alden senior Katie Meyer was also chosen to the first-team.

Second-team selections include Iowa Falls-Alden senior Madalyn Juhl, Algona junior Kameryn Etherington, Clear Lake junior Julia Merfeld, Iowa Falls-Alden sophomore Darby Dodd, Clear Lake sophomore Zoe Fasbender and Clarion-Goldfield-Dows sophomore Raven Kinnetz.

Joining Lange on the third-team is Fort Dodge St. Edmond senior Erin Flattery, Algona senior Nicole Smidt, Clear Lake junior Lexi Fasbender, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows junior Courtney Harle, Webster City junior Grace Hoversten and Hampton-Dumont/CAL junior Courtney Miller.
