A mini victory in the final event of the meet, the 4x400 relay, lifted the Humboldt girls’ track team to the team title of the Pocahontas Relays on April 16.
The Wildcats finished with 142 points to edge runner-up Algona, which had 140. Emmetsburg was third with 119.
The Wildcat 4x400 relay of Paige DeWinter, Mady lange, Lily Groat and Bryce Gidel clocked 11:12.43 to finish third while Algona was fifth. It was enough to give the Wildcats the team title.

The Wildcats had Kendal Clark winning the discus with a toss measuring 122-5. Bryce Gidel won the 3,000-meters in 11:02 and the 4x800 relay finished first in 11:12.43 with the relay consisting of Elizabeth Hildreth, Brett Harklau, Kirstyn Beaman and Jayda Hoefer.
