Humboldt soccer teams sweep East Sac County

Humboldt's varsity soccer teams got back on the winning track on May 7 by sweeping East Sac County in a girl-boy doubleheader played at Wall Lake.

The Humboldt girls improved to 8-4 on the season with a 4-0 victory. Humboldt's boys evened their record at 7-7 by shutting out ESC 5-0.

Iowa Falls-Alden downs Humboldt
Iowa Falls-Alden spoiled Humboldt's senior night in soccer Monday night (May 6) as the Wildcats fell to the Cadets in a varsity doubleheader. The girls bowed 6-1 while the boys were edged 2-1 by the Cadets.

The loss snapped a four-game win streak for Humboldt's boys, who went 2-0 to win the Carroll tournament on May 4.

The girls host Aplington-Parkersburg on May 10. Humboldt's boys visit Garner on May 11 to face the Cardinals and Spencer.
