Wildcat girls fall to Cowgirls in 4 sets

Sole possession of first-place in the North Central Conference volleyball standings was on the line tonight (Oct. 1) when the Humboldt Volleyball team hosted Clarion-Goldfield-Dows inside the Humboldt gym. CGD prevailed by scores of 25-21, 25-27, 25-22 and 25-22.

Humboldt slipped to 22-3 overall, 4-1 in the NCC. CGD Improved to 5-0 in the NCC.

Next action for the Wildcats will be at Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Thursday, Oct. 10. The Wildcats also play in the Mason City tournament on Oct. 12.

Humboldt will visit Webster City on Oct. 15 and host Algona Garrigan on Oct. 17 to close out their regular season.

Regional tournament play begins on Oct. 23 with pairings to be determined soon.
