Wildcats fall to Webster City In home finale, 27-21

The Humboldt football team gave a gallant effort Friday (Oct. 11) but came up short, 27-21 to Webster City in Class 3A District 2 action on Mason Maach Field in the final home game of the season for the Wildcats.

Jamison Heinz scored on touchdown runs of 16 and 32 yards and Caden Matson passed 11 yards to Caiden Baker for a score to lead Humboldt.

Humboldt is now 1-6 overall, 1-2 in district play. They have road games at Carroll (Oct. 18) and Perry (Oct. 25) to round out their schedule.
