Humboldt's varsity girls basketball team improved their season record to 6-4 overall by stopping Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, 42-30 in Garner Tuesday night (Jan. 6) in non-conference action. Bae Arnold and Kendal Clark each scored 10 points for Humboldt.
Wildcats run past Broncos, 66-51
Humboldt raced out to a 23-7 first quarter lead and never looked back in beating Belmond-Klemme, 66-51 in a non-conference varsity girls' basketball game in the Humboldt gym on Jan. 5.
The Wildcats resume North Central Conference play at home against Clear Lake on Friday, Jan. 10.
