Humboldt wrestling team wins NCC dual championship!

A pair of lopsided victories Thursday night (Jan. 16) lifted the Humboldt wrestling team into a 3-way tie for the North Central Conference dual team championship.

Humboldt handled Webster City 50-24 and followed with an 84-0 victory over Fort Dodge St. Edmond to finish 6-1 in the NCC, tied with Algona and Clarion-Goldfield-Dows.

Humboldt, 17-1 on the season and ranked No. 9 in the state in the Class 2A dual team standings, is slated to compete in the Osage Duals on Saturday, Jan. 18.
