Humboldt dance squads including pre-K through eighth grade students will participate in dance team night at the Humboldt High School, Saturday, Feb. 1.

The Humboldt High School Dance Team Night Showcase will take place this Saturday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m. at the Humboldt High School gym. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. Children age three and under are free.
Prior to the performances, there will be a free will donation meal in the cafeteria from 5-6:30 p.m.
Pre-K through eighth grade students will take part in a clinic in the morning from 10 a.m. to noon, and then will perform a routine at the evening showcase. The Humboldt High School Drill Team will perform their state routines, including solos along with some fun routines such as hip hop, hoopla, co-ed, father/daughter and lights.
At State Competition on Dec. 5-6, the team received Division I ratings for their pom, kick and jazz routines. They placed fifth in kick and third in pom. The team is coached by Nicole Fusco.
The night also will include a performance by the Iowa Central Dance Team. See the special salute page in this week's Humboldt Independent.
