Humboldt girls rip St. Edmond, upended by No. 4 Lions

Fourth-ranked Clear Lake handed the Humboldt girls basketball team a 70-39 loss in North Central Conference play in Clear Lake on Friday night (Feb. 7). Mady Lange scored 12 points, Kendal Clark made 10 and Jori Hajek added eight for the Wildcats, who are 10-10 overall, 5-8 in the NCC.

The Humboldt girls basketball team had no trouble winning their fifth conference game of the season as they ripped Fort Dodge St. Edmond, 63-32 in conference action in Humboldt on Tuesday night, Feb. 4.
Kendal Clark scored 17 points, Mady Lange had 14 and Jayda Hoefer 13 for Humboldt.

Humboldt hosts Webster City on Feb. 11 in another NCC contest.

Class 3A Regional Tournament opening round action will get underway on Saturday, Feb. 15, in a first round game at Forest City between the Wildcats and the Indians. Opening tip is at 5 p.m. The winner will face Clear Lake or Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on Feb. 19 in a regional semifinal round game in Clear Lake.
