Wildcat finish 8th in state duals

The Humboldt wrestling team capped its dual season with a 20-2 record after falling 38-33 to Sergeant Bluff-Luton in the consolation final of the Class 2A state dual tournament on Wednesday Feb. 19, at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Humboldt lost 60-12 to No. 1 ranked West Delaware in the opening round. Osage defeated the Wildcats 52-18 in the consolation semifinal.
The individual tournament begins Thursday.
