Heinz selected to play in Shrine Bowl

The summer just got a little bit busier for Humboldt High senior Jamison Heinz.
The six-foot, 195-pound multi-sport athlete has been selected to play for the North football squad in the 48th Annual Iowa Shrine All-Star game on Saturday, July 18, 4 p.m. inside the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
Shrine Bowl representative Dean Jacobsen was in Humboldt last week to announce the selection of Heinz for the summer classic, in which 46 high school graduates are selected for each of the North and South squads. Highway 30 is the dividing line for the selection of players.
