Humboldt County reports 41 cases of COVID-19

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Humboldt County Public Health have identified another five positive cases of COVID-19 in Humboldt County during the past five days, raising the total number of cases to 41.
Of the 41 positive cases (as of June 22) since the county reported its first case on April 18, there have been four cases in children (ages 0-17), 15 cases in adults ages 18-40, 19 cases in adults 41-60, two adults ages 61-80, and one adult age 81+. One COVID-19 patient in the 61-80-age group in the county has died from the disease.
Of the 41 positive cases in the county, 29 have recovered. The breakdown by gender is roughly half female and half male, with a few more males than females. Since June 1, Humboldt County has reported 23 positive COVID-19 cases.
