Humboldt girls in 7-0 victory over Cadets

Ellie Jacobson pitched a one-hitter and struck out 14 Iowa Falls-Alden batters to power the Humboldt softball team past the Cadets in a North Central Conference game in Humboldt on July 1. Humboldt collected six hits and had no errors in moving to 6-0 in the NCC, 12-1 overall.

Mady Lange (triple) and Kendal Clark (double) each had two hits for Humboldt. Jori Hajek hit a double.

Wildcat girls in 10-0 victory
The Humboldt softball team shutout Pocahontas Area 10-0 in five innings Tuesday night (June 30) in Humboldt.

Reagan Lee earned the win pitching for Humboldt. Lee scattered four hits, struck out three, walked one and hit one batter.

Kendal Clark went 3-for-3 at bat with five runs batted in to lead Humboldt's batting order at the plate. Ellie Jacobson was 2-for-2.

The Wildcats host Algona on Thursday, July 2, in a game that will determine the outright champion of the NCC.

Humboldt visits Clear Lake on Friday, July 3.
