Three new COVID-19 cases reported in county

The Iowa Department of Public Health and Humboldt County Public Health have announced three new COVID-19 cases in the county during the past 24 hours, raising the total positive case count to 58. The total recovered cases in Humboldt County is 43.
Of the new cases, two are residents in the 18-40 age group and one is in the 61-80 age group. One Humboldt County resident, in the 61-80 age group, has died from the disease.
Tuesday’s report come after seven new cases were reported last week.
Humboldt County Public Health continues to strongly encourage all vulnerable Iowans, including those with preexisting medical conditions and those older than 65, to continue to limit their activities outside of their home, including their visits to businesses and other establishments and their participation in gatherings of any size and any purpose.
We encourage all Iowans to limit their in-person interactions with vulnerable Iowans and to exercise particular care and caution when engaging in any necessary interactions.
