Matt Dominick is seeing a dream come true with his new business, Dom’s Café and Catering.
The new restaurant is located at 331 Sumner Avenue across from the Humboldt Family Aquatic Center.
Dom’s is open Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features made to order breakfast including eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, toast, pancakes, hash browns, breakfast sandwiches on English muffins and breakfast burritos. Biscuits and gravy are offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Drinks include milk, juice, soda or coffee.
The lunch menu consists of a special offered each day until it is gone.
The menu will be ever changing, especially with the seasons. In the winter when it’s harder to smoke meat outside, Dom’s will offer more winter foods such as soups and chili. He’s also looking forward to offering one of his specialty dishes, stuffed manicotti.
Dom’s also has an ice cream machine that has already proved to be popular.
Catering is also offered, mostly on the weekends. He’s already been contacted to cater some events in 2021. Orders can be called in at (515) 890-2597. Read more about the business in this week's Humboldt Independent.
