One new COVID-19 case this week; five active positive cases

According to Humboldt County Public Health, there are no new novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the county Saturday, Sept. 5, and there has been only one new case reported in the county since Monday, that being a juvenile between the ages of 0-17.
Humboldt County reports 153 total positive cases since the virus first struck the county on April 18. Of those, all by five have recovered, there have been two deaths, one reported June 1 and one reported Aug. 17.
The Centers for Disease Control, Iowa Department of Public Health and Humboldt County Public Health remind citizens to stay home if they are sick, maintain six feet distance from others outside your household, wash your hands often and wear a face covering when social distancing is not possible.
