Wildcats rally past Mason City, 21-14

The Humboldt football team snapped a two-game losing streak tonight when the Wildcats rallied past Mason City, 21-14 in a Class 3A District 2 matchup at Mason City.

Humboldt quarterback Caden Matson, who scored 3 touchdowns on the night, scored on a short run with less than a minute left to lift Humboldt.

The Wildcats are 4-2 overall, 2-2 in district play.

Humboldt wraps up its regular season at home on Oct. 9 against Gilbert. First round playoffs begin on Oct. 16.
