Humboldt girls fall at Clarion in key NCC clash

The No. 11 ranked Humboldt volleyball team fell to No. 2 ranked Clarion-Goldfield-Dows in clash that determined the outright North Central Conference champion. CGD topped the Wildcats by scores of 25-10, 25-19 and 25-20. CGD finishes 7-0 and first in the NCC.
The Wildcats move to 30-3 overall, 6-1 and second in the NCC.
Humboldt will host Algona in a first round Class 3A regional on Monday, Oct. 19, 7 p.m.
