Spencer rallies past Humboldt late, 42-35

Spencer scored the winning touchdown with less than a minute to play to rally past Humboldt, 42-35 in a Class 3A second round football playoff game in Spencer Friday night (Oct. 23).

Humboldt trailed 13-12 at halftime but put together their own rally in the fourth quarter after trailing 34-19. Humboldt scored twice and was successful on both 2-point conversion plays to take a 35-34 lead.

Humboldt ends its season at 5-4 overall.
