Humboldt High School distance running standout Quinton Orr signed a national letter of intent on Nov. 19 to attend Iowa State University in Ames and run cross country and track for the Cyclones. Humboldt High School distance running standout Quinton Orr, one of the top runners in the state, made it official on Nov. 19 by signing a national letter of intent to attend Iowa State University in Ames and run cross country and track for the Cyclones.
Orr, who shattered all kinds of records at Humboldt, was a Class 3A state runner-up for three consecutive seasons. Orr, son of Dave and Allison Orr of Humboldt, hopes to earn a degree in the school of veterinary science at Iowa State.
