Huge Cadet rally upends Humboldt boys, 69-65

Iowa Falls-Alden rallied from a 17-point second half deficit to upend the Humboldt boys basketball team, 69-65 in a North Central Conference game in Humboldt Friday night (Jan. 8). Gabe Gidel scored 21 points and Trevor Jacobson added 12 to lead the Wildcats, 6-3 overall, 3-2 in the NCC.

Cards snap Wildcat win streak at 3 games
Garner-Hayfield/Ventura snapped Humboldt's three-game win streak with a 57-53 victory over the Wildcats in non-conference action in the Humboldt gym on Jan. 5.

Humboldt, 6-2 overall, was paced by Will Orness with 12 points. Gabe Gidel netted 11. Kevin Meyers scored 20 points and Hayden Hutcheson added 18 to lead the Cardinals, 7-1 overall.
