When Terri Meyers woke up Monday morning, she had nothing to do. At least nothing she “had” to do.
With the new year came a new transition for the longtime Renwick resident.
Terri completed her duties as Renwick City Clerk on Dec. 31, 2020, topping off a 25-year-plus run in that position. Such longevity in the same job is becoming a rarity these days.
She started working for the city of Renwick in October 1995. Meyers started out as part-time, but as duties increased and more accounting and paperwork was required, the demands of the job increased. She has been salaried at 30 hours a week for the past 7-8 years. Read more about Terri's story in this week's Humboldt Independent.
