HHS boys fall at South Central Calhoun, 72-55

The Humboldt boys' basketball team came up short, 72-55 Tuesday night (Jan. 12) in non-conference action at South Central Calhoun. Gabe Gidel scored 14 points and Jacob Heier had 11 to pace Humboldt. Brennan Halder scored 28 to lead the Titans.

Humboldt, 6-4 overall, 3-2 in the NCC, will return to conference play on the road at Clear Lake on Friday, Jan. 22.

Humboldt's home game against Webster City on Tuesday, Jan. 19, was rescheduled for Feb. 4 due to inclement weather road conditions.

Humboldt's game at Clarion on Jan. 15 has been moved to Saturday, Jan. 30 due to inclement weather. Action that day begins at 1:30 p.m. with the JV girls, followed by the JV boys, varsity girls and varsity boys.
