Clark named 3rd team all-state

Set to play in 2 all-star series

Humboldt High senior basketball player Kendal Clark was named third-team All-State in Class 3A recently by the Iowa Print Sportswriters Association.

Clark averaged 16.5 points and 10.3 rebounds per game for the Wildcats, who were runner-up in the North Central Conference at 11-3 and finished 18-5 overall, setting a school five-player record for wins in a season.

Clark was a unanimous first-team all-conference pick and was also selected all-district. Clark will be playing in two upcoming weekend all-star series. Clark will play in the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Senior All-Star game on March 27 in Grimes. Clark will also play in the Iowa Girls Coaches Association Larry Niemeyer Senior All-Star games April 10-11 in Cedar Rapids at Jefferson High School.
