This weeks vaccinations open to anyone 16 and older

Humboldt County Public Health has opened this week’s Pfizer COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Clinic to ANYONE 16 years and older. The clinics will be Wednesday and Thursday, March 31 and April 1 at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds in Humboldt. All Phase 1 vaccinating restrictions have been lifted. There are approximately 650 doses/appointments left for this upcoming clinic. We encourage anyone 16 years and older that would like to get vaccinated to make an appointment.
On the day/time of your appointment, please enter through the south gate at the Fairgrounds. We prefer you come from the east (on 6th Ave N) to eliminate a backup of cars on 5th St N if possible. (see map) From this point, you will be guided through the process by our Hospital staff. The process takes approximately 25 minutes once you get your number at the gate. As a reminder, you are required to wait 15 minutes following your injection to ensure you do not have a reaction.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our local Public Health at 515-332-2492 for any questions or concerns.
