Area racers eager to get new season underway

As the calendar turns to April, so does the arrival of the auto racing season on north central Iowa tracks.
A host of area drivers, all veterans on the track, are set to begin another season.
The Kossuth County Speedway in Algona opens on May 7. The test and tune is Friday, April 30. The Hancock County Speedway in Britt officially opens on April 16.
Sports Park Speedway in Fort Dodge is set to open on May 7 with test and tune on April 16 and 30. At the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, the season opener is Saturday, April 10.
