110 doses of Moderna vaccine available April 14

Humboldt County Public Health has announced that the next COVID-19 vaccination clinic has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 14 at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds Events Center in Humboldt.
The county has received 110 doses of the Moderna vaccine.
Prior to your appointment please read the Moderna fact sheet and fill out the First Dose Consent Form.
The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine requires two doses. You will need to come back for your second dose on Wednesday, May 12.
Appointments will be made on a first come first serve basis, if there are no available appointments please call Humboldt County Public Health at 515-332-2492 to be put on our cancellation/waiting list.

Twenty-five active cases
According to the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital and Humboldt County Public Health dashboard, as of Tuesday April 6, there were three new positive cases of COVID-19 in the county, two in the 41-60 age group and one in the 61-80 age category.
Since the virus was first reported in Humboldt County on April 18, 2020, there have been 1,182 confirmed cases in the county. Of that number, there have been 25 deaths and there are currently 25 active positive cases. A total of 1,132 people have recovered.
