NHS inducts 14 at Humboldt High

The Humboldt High School National Honor Society induction ceremony was held on Friday, April 23, in the HHS gym. Current NHS members were invited along with parents and the new inductees.
Serving as Master of Ceremonies was Quinton Orr. Guest speakers were Sydney Savery (Character), Aneisha Sritharan (Leadership), Leah Manz (Scholarship) and Emily Zaugg (Service).
HHS Principal Dr. Paul Numedahl congratulated the inductees and challenged them to keep an eye to the future and continue practicing character, leadership, scholarship and service.
Dr. Numedahl introduced the new inductees which included: Ryder Wickett, son of Greg and Jani Wickett; Kinzie Peyton, daughter of Gary and Sonja Peyton; Jayda Vitzthum, daughter of Angie Vitzthum; Jacob Pedersen, son of Andrew and Erin Pedersen; Isaiah Kahl, son of Dan and Lissa Kahl; Grace Smith, daughter of Lee and Melissa Smith; Paige DeWinter, daughter of Lance and Jen DeWinter; Ashley Wergeland, daughter of Natalie and Chris Wergeland; Allison Hoag, daughter of Nicole and Jason Hoag; Adalynn Lawman, daughter of Delayna and Cody Lawman; Kaitlyn Thompson, daughter of Diane and Lawrence Thompson; Brett Harklau, daughter of Abbey and Ryan Harklau; Nora Carlson, daughter of Tom and Sara Carlson; and Chloe Mayall, daughter of Tiffany and Frank Mayall.
Current members of the National Honor Society include: Kailee Dettmann, Lilyan Groat, Jayda Hoefer, Leah Johnson, Leah Manz, Kylie Moser, Lauren Murray, Abbie Orness, Quinton Orr, Cassondra Ruzicka, Fletcher Satern, Sydney Savery, Kaylee Shaner, Morgan Smith, Aneisha Sritharan, Esmeralda Tejeda, Eric Wittrock and Emily Zaugg.
Following the induction ceremony there was a reception in the HHS cafeteria.
