Mask requirement remains in health care settings

From HCMH
As Iowa lifts masking for fully vaccinated people, HCMH remains unchanged to protect the vulnerable populations we serve.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has emphasized that its new masking recommendations for people fully vaccinated against COVID-19 do not apply to health care settings. This means that our staff, patients, residents and visitors are required to continue to wear a mask or face covering as recommended.
This applies to our hospital, UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine, Humboldt County Public Health office, Long Term Care, Springvale Assisted and Independent Living.
As this is an exciting and powerful moment to be able to get back to some sense of normalcy, we thank you for masking up while we care for you and your loved ones.
