Nora Carlson 3rd after day one of the 3A state golf tournament

Humboldt's Nora Carlson is in third place with an 18-hole total of 78 after day one of the Class 3A girls' state golf tournament at Adel.
Carlson trails Eden Lohrbach of Gilbert (76) and Kiki Bruner of Washington (77). Anna Nacos of Washington is fourth with 80. Ashlynn Sporrer of Nevada is fifth with 83, along with Clear Lake's Meghan DeLong. Kaitlin Hotchkiss of Xavier is sixth with 85.
The second and final day begins Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.
