Wildcat softball team to 7-1 after Saturday sweep

The Humboldt softball team pushed their season record to 7-1 overall after sweeping Mason City (11-1) and Estherville-LC (2-1) on Saturday, June 5 in Humboldt.

Reagan Lee pitched a four-hitter in the first game and Kendal Clark homered and doubled at bat to lead Humboldt.

Wildcats too much for Ogden, 12-2
Humboldt proved to be too much for Ogden as the Wildcats rolled to a 12-2 victory over the Bulldogs on June 4 in Humboldt. Humboldt pounded out 14 hits as Kendal Clark led the way with five hits, including a homer and a double, to lead Humboldt.

Wildcats pound Clear Lake, 12-2
The No. 13 ranked Humboldt softball team pounded Clear Lake for 11 hits en route to a 12-2 victory in five innings on Thursday night (June 3) in Clear Lake.

Kendal Clark went 4-for-4 at bat with a homer and two RBI. Jori Hajek was 3-for-4 with a double. Addison Thompson homered and Reagan Lee doubled. Lee pitched a five-hitter.

Humboldt improved to 2-0 in conference play.

Wildcats slug CGD, 15-3
Jori Hajek homered and Reagan Lee pitched a 3-hitter to power the Humboldt softball team to a 15-3 victory over Clarion-Goldfield-Dows in a North Central Conference opener for both teams Wednesday night (June 2) in Humboldt.

Lee struck out four and allowed three hits in the four-inning contest. Hajek drove in two runs and Alexis Hansen and Addison Thompson each had two RBI for Humboldt, 3-1 overall, 1-0 in the NCC.

Humboldt will host Hampton-Dumont-CAL on Monday, June 14.
