Car cruise to Humboldt June 23

Tom Nugent with the Kossuth Shrine Club wants to invite classic care enthusiasts to join fellow vehicle lovers on a car cruise from the Chrome Corner Truck Stop in Algona to 716 Main in Humboldt.
The event will be Wednesday, June 23, leaving the Chrome at 5:30 p.m. and taking the back roads from Algona to Dakota City and then driving west on Main Street through Dakota City and Humboldt, arriving at 716 Main around 6:15 p.m.
All vehicles are welcome. The $10 entry fee per vehicle goes to the Shriner’s Hospital.
The group has planned 2021 car cruises for the fourth Wednesday of the month. They visited the Main Street Pub & Grill in Bancroft in May. They will be driving from Algona to Unkie’s in Thor on July 28, to the Country Inn in Swea City on Aug. 25 and to AK’s Chrome Restaurant in Algona on Sept. 22.
