Homecoming Court announced

The Humboldt High School 2021 Homecoming Parade will take place on Sumner Avenue on Thursday, Sept. 23, at 6:30 p.m., followed by coronation of the Homecoming King and Queen at 7:30 p.m. in the HHS gym.
The parade route starts at Taft Elementary and goes east to 4th Street, then south to Sumner Avenue and then west on Sumner Avenue. The parade, which will feature the Wildcat Marching Band, will end near Bicknell Park.
The Hometown Homecoming event downtown will be from 5:30-7 p.m. Businesses will have beads, tattoos, clothing, cups and more available for purchase. Food vendors will be on Sumner Avenue.
Coronation will follow the parade at the HHS gym at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23. Queen candidates include: Paige DeWinter, Brett Harklau, Kinzie Peyton, Rylie Satern, Grace Smith and Joie Smith. King candidates include Jackson Fischer, Carter Hatcher, Jacob Heier, Hayden Holm, Caden Matson and Luke Sievers. A free-will offering will help support HHS Student Senate Homecoming activities.
The Homecoming football game against Ballard starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24. The Homecoming Court will be recognized during halftime.
After the football game, high school students only will have a dance and a black light dodgeball game until 11:30 p.m.
Dress Up Days during Homecoming Week include: Monday, Camo Day; Tuesday (which is school picture day), Country or Country Club; Wednesday (no school); Thursday, PJ; and Friday, Blue and Gold Day.
