Wasoba into Wrestling Hall of Fame

Ron Wasoba, whose contribution to Humboldt wrestling spanned over four decades, will be inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Iowa Chapter this weekend.
Wasoba will be among five others inducted at a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Iowa Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association annual convention.
“It’s an unbelievable feeling. It’s the pinnacle of my wrestling career. It’s a wonderful feeling and a great tribute to Humboldt wrestling and all the people who helped me along the way,” Wasoba said.
