Wildcats upended by Pocahontas Area, 70-50

A slow start against a hot-shooting Pocahontas Area squad set the tone in Humboldt's 70-50 loss in non-conference girls' basketball at Pocahontas Tuesday night (Nov. 23).
Humboldt, now 0-2 on the young season, was paced in scoring by Alexis Hansen and Kayla Gieber each with 12 points. Morgan Mann made 10 and Marissa Kaufman had five.
The Wildcats will return to action when they travel to Manson on Nov. 30 for a non-conference matchup with the Cougars.
