Harklau named District Coach of the Year

Veteran Humboldt head girls’ golf coach Jess Harklau received the Class 3A District Coach of the Year Award.
Harklau, who guided the Wildcats to a seventh-place finish in the state tournament a month ago, was presented the Mike Henderson Award prior to last week’s home softball game with Spencer on June 23. Humboldt High Activities director Greg Thomas made the presentation.
