Christian motorcyclists coming to Humboldt this week

Christian Motorcyclists Association - Iowa will be coming to The Humboldt County Fairgrounds this weekend. The public is welcome to participate in activities.

There will be bikers in town this weekend. Like all motorcyclists, the group likes to have fun. There will also be something special in the group’s purpose, to praise and serve the Lord.
The Christian Motorcyclists Association – Iowa Chapter, will be having their Heartland Rally this weekend at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds, 311 6th Ave. N.
“We have met in Fort Dodge for several years and due to a scheduling conflict will be coming to Humboldt this year. The CMA Iowa is very excited to be coming to Humboldt for our Heartland Rally. Being from Fort Dodge, I’m familiar with the Humboldt community and know it will be a great experience for all our people,” Brian Bidleman, CMA Iowa state coordinator said.
The Rally will kick off with a Family Bike Night on Friday, July 29, starting in downtown Humboldt at 6 p.m. The city has agreed to close off the 600 block of Sumner Avenue. There will be a bike show, music from Mojo Productions, kids games, vendors and more. Vendors will include Old Creamery Ice Cream and Dad’s Best Kettle Korn. There also will be a blessing of bikes. There will be activities at The Humboldt County Fairgrounds and Events Center on Saturday and Sunday, July 30-31. Read more about it in this week's Humboldt Independent.
