Winter, Elizondo compete for FD swimming team

Humboldt’s Emma Winter and Catalina Elizondo continued their contributions to the Fort Dodge girls’ swim team in their home meet on Sept. 27.
Fort Dodge hosted Ames and fell, 130-56. In the JV scoring, Ames won 136-29.
Among the highlights, Winter swam the third leg of the fifth-place JV 200-yard medley and freestyle relays.
Elizondo placed fourth in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:35.60.
