Erica Post named head softball coach

Erica Post has come full circle and she’s looking forward to the challenge.
Post, who has served the past 16 seasons as assistant coach of the Humboldt High softball team, was recently named head coach of the Wildcats. Her appointment was approved by the Humboldt School Board at their March 20 meeting.
Post takes over the reins from Katie Schuelke, who resigned after one season guiding Humboldt.
“It is an honor and privilege to become the head coach of Humboldt softball. This is a very tradition-rich program that I have been fortunate enough to be a part of as a player and a coach,” Post said.
