Sam Fischer says life is all about the journey.
Whether it’s running a marathon race or dealing with the daily grind in our lives, Fischer says we all have the tools to succeed.
Succeed is what Fischer did recently when he finished first in a 100-mile ultra-marathon in North Carolina back on March 18-19 in the MST (Mountains to Sea) ultra-marathon outside of Durham.
The 20-year-old Humboldt man won the event in 24-hours and 23 minutes.
“It’s one race. You have 32 hours to complete it," Fischer said.
Read about his journey in Phil Monson's exclusive story only in this week's Humboldt Independent.
