The Humboldt High School girls' golf team earned a trip to the Class 4A State Tournament after placing runner-up in a regional at Storm Lake on Monday (May 20). DES MOINES - Sam Larson placed fifth in the 1,500-meters in the Class 3A State track and field championships in Des Moines on Saturday, May 18. Larson was also sixth in the 3,000-meters on opening day of the meet held at Drake Stadium.

Humboldt's girls have advanced six events to the state track and field championships in Des Moines (May 16-18) after competing in a state qualifying meet in Spirit Lake on May 9. CARROLL - Humboldt's bid to return to the Class 3A State Golf Tournament fell short Friday (May 17) when the Wildcats finished third among five teams in a district meet in Carroll to see their season come to a close.

The Humboldt High boys' soccer team wrapped up their regular season at home on Thursday night in a 1-1 tie with Webster City.
