Humboldt boys 2nd in golf triangular at Iowa Falls
IOWA FALLS - The rugged North Central Conference boys' golf race got a little bit tougher. Tuesday night (April 23) at Highland Golf Course in Iowa Falls, the Wildcats finished second in a three-team race with the Cadets and Webster City.
Webster City shot a 164, Humboldt 166 and Iowa Falls-Alden 176. Christian Birdsell paced Humboldt with a 39, followed by Jaxon Heinz at 41, Landon Schnetzer with 42 and Colton Schnetzer with a 44. WC was led by Avery Fuhs with 38 and Alec Fuhs with 39. Luke Bahr paced Iowa Falls-Alden with 42 while Tim Taylor shot 44, Quinn Taylor 45 and Luke Meyer 45.
The Wildcats golf at Algona Bishop Garrigan on Friday, April 26, and at Storm Lake on Saturday, April 27.
