Humboldt girls hold off Lynx, 49-43
HUMBOLDT – Humboldt's varsity girls' basketball team got back on track entering the holiday break by holding off Webster City, 49-43 Friday night (Dec. 21) in a North Central Conference game in the Wildcat gym. Lauren Friesth scored 16 points and Maddie Thomas added 12 to pace the Wildcats, who improved to 4-5 overall, 3-4 in the NCC. Erica Lane added 8 points, followed by April Jones with 6 and Kinzie Wright with 4.
Webster City was led by Cambria Hoffmann with 12 points and Kelsey Lindmark with 6.
