Dry weather aids Highway 169 project south of Humboldt

Trees are being cleared along the hills on Highway 169 south of Humboldt in preparation for next year’s total reconstruction of the highway. Traffic will be detoured in 2011 as the area is regraded to level out the hills. Bridges and culverts will also be replaced. A week of dry weather helped construction crews make huge strides on the Highway 169 project between Humboldt and Fort Dodge last week. Thursday, September 02, 2010
