Humboldt's girls won six events and placed second in the team scoring of the Storm Lake Invitational Thursday night (April 25).
Humboldt's girls took first-place in the 4x800 relay (10:37), the shuttle hurdle relay (1:11), the distance medley relay (4:49), the 4x400 relay (4:37), April Jones in the 1,500 (5:45) and Maddie Kampen in the 800 meters (2:37).
The 4x800 relay consisted of Brittney Nilles, Hannah Friesth, Maddie Kampen and Kenzie Ross. The shuttle hurdle relay includes Maggy Duffield, Erica Lane, Brittney Nilles, Kaitlyn Jensen. The 4x400 relay was run by Friesth, Ross, Kampen and Duffield. The distance medley comprised of Emily Hughes, Anna Tecklenburg, Duffield and Jones.
Also, in the Drake Relays on Thursday, Sam Larson finished 16th out of 20 runners in the 3,000-meter run high school division.
