Doubling of sales, new partnership spur Born Free

There was a buzz in the air after the new 2014 Born Free motorhome models were unveiled during the second annual Born Free Rally last week. On Wednesday morning, the showroom at Dodgen Industries was filled with more than 200 people who attended the Born Free Rally last week in Humboldt. One after another came up to Dodgen Industries CEO C.T. Dodgen and thanked him for the changes. “You’ve really listened to what we wanted,” one Born Free owner who made the trip from Florida said. At last year’s rally, Born Free owners gave the staff at Dodgen Industries more than 140 ideas. “We followed up on every one and prioritized them and tried to implement as many as we could,” C.T. Dodgen said. Born Free employees also looked at million dollar buses and went to lots of shows to gather ideas. Dodgen Industries also announced a partnership with Lazydays, the largest motorhome dealer in the nation.
