The mean price of the homes was $106,947. In Dakota City, 19 homes sold, totaling $1,000,175, with a mean price of $52,640. A total of 45 homes sold in the surrounding towns of Bode, Livermore, Gilmore City, Bradgate, Thor, Hardy and Rolfe. The total sales price was $1,492,800, with a mean of $33,173. Compared to 2012, 10 fewer homes sold in Humboldt in 2013. Six more homes sold in Dakota City in ‘13, compared to 2012. In the surrounding communities listed above, 11 more homes sold in 2013, than in 2012.
