Wildcat wrestlers 2nd in Guthrie Center Invite as Wheeler, Hendricks win titles

Nikko Wheeler won the 170-pound class and Dylan Hendricks took the 285-pound class as the Humboldt wrestling team finished second in the Guthrie Center Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 1. Humboldt finished with 180 team points to finish behind Clarion-Goldfield, which totaled 219 points.Humboldt also got runner-up finishes from Reed Dreyer at 195 and Adam Mickelson at 182. Austen Gargano (126) and Jake Miller (132) both took fourth while Thaylan Bowman (152), Levi Sawyer (113) and Gus Arnold (160) were fifth. Cordes Olthoff was sixth at 220.
